The XVI International Symposium on Biological Control of Weeds (ISBCW2023) will be held as an in-person event only.
Fees are subject to the date of registration (Early Bird, Regular and Late registration), registrant’s career status (Professional or Student) and participant’s residency.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A TWO STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS:

Registrations will not be entered into the system and considered valid until payment in full and registration form have been received by the organisers.
Attention: Oral presentation and Poster abstract submission! You must register as a participant and pay your registration fee prior to submitting your poster and/or oral presentation abstracts. Abstract can be submitted until February 15th 2023 here: abstracts

● Symposium Dinner and transfer to Iguazú Falls National Park (Gran Meliá Iguazú Hotel) – Thursday 11 May
1. Payment
Accepted methods of payment. For non-residents payments will be held only through online credit cards in US dollars through a secured payment system (PayPal). Please note any credit card transaction will appear on your statement as PAYPAL *FUNDACIONPA.
Invoice. If invoice is required, make sure to provide invoice details when requested in the e-commerce site before you finalise the purchase.
NOTICE: Please make different purchase transactions for Companions or any product that you do not wish to include in your invoice. Companions are required to fill in a different Registration Form (COMPANION FORM) down below.
Cancellations are only accepted in written form by email (organisers@isbcw-iguazu.com). Cancellations received before 1 March 2023 will receive a full refund, less an administration charge. Thereafter refunds will not be available. However, you may nominate a substitute participant without additional cost until 30 April 2023.
No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
2. Registration & payment confirmation form
To finalise your registration please fill in the following form. Once you have registered you will receive a confirmation email to the address provided on the registration.
If you’re travelling with a companion, please remember they are required to fill in a different form (COMPANION FORM).

COVID-19 Statement
The health and safety of all attendees is of utmost importance to the ISBCW and the organisers. For those planning to attend in-person, the symposium will follow all COVID-19 guidelines and protocols implemented by the government and host venue. We will work closely with the venue, suppliers, and stakeholders to provide the safest possible environment for symposium attendees, and we will continue to monitor and adhere to government advice as planning proceeds.
Please consider that governments and/or venues may require all in-person attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination, or valid exemption. We will continue to monitor all requirements, including vaccination, as planning proceeds and advise delegates.
